This piece, 'Pathos Mort', is a part of a recent mini series where I wanted to express my appreciation for the full life cycle of plants as well as the beauty and nuance within a decaying leaf. The title of this work is a play on the French term for still life, 'Nature Morte', literally translating to dead nature.
